The Prescriptive (Classic) Strategy of Enterprise Architecture is one where a single set of approved standards are centrally developed and governed across all business units within a company. In this lesson Mark Richards describes the prescriptive strategy, shows examples of how it is applied, and then discusses the advantages and disadvantages of this strategy.
