Lesson 24 - Lean Modeling Concepts
(July 2, 2018)

Modeling the enterprise (or even an application or microservices ecosystem) is one of the biggest challenges an architect faces. Not only does diagramming take too long, but once you’ve created a diagram you constantly need to maintain it and keep it up to date. Another problem with modeling is that diagrams sometimes get in the way of the information that is needed bu the models. In this lesson Mark Richards describes the concept of lean modeling, first introduced by Matthew Kern in an article in the LinkedIn group enterprise architecture forum.
