Lesson 129 - Assessing Architectural Risk (Part 3)
(December 20, 2021)

One of the responsibilities of a software architect is to continually identify and assess risk within an architecture. For example, are we at risk for supporting our scalability needs in our architecture? Are we at risk for supporting the level of responsiveness or data integrity in our architecture? In the prior lessons (Lessons 127 and 128) Mark Richards showed how to determine what to assess in an architecture, and also how to identify risk. In this lesson Mark concludes this three-part series by showing how to measure architectural risk and how to show the direction risk is going within an architectural risk assessment.
