Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) was a highly popular architecture style in the early 2000’s that promoted reuse across the enterprise and heterogeneous system interoperability. So what happened? Is SOA Dead, or is it still a viable architecture style? In this lesson Mark Richards walks you through SOA as an architecture style, and then discusses whether it is still a viable architecture or not, and most importantly, why.
